The Sibson Inn Hotel is a small charming countryside hotel, conveniently located just off the A1 and a short drive from Peterborough.

Charlie and I stayed here on our way back from France this year, and it’s a lovely old inn. Very cosy and the staff are very helpful. Although it is actually on the A1, once you enter the hotel there is no noise from the traffic and directly behind the hotel and courtyard is open countryside. There are lots of lovely views, so there is no need to leave the hotel grounds. It is, apparently, a much sought-after wedding venue. We’ve booked it for 3 days painting.

Dates: Monday 20th April 2026 to Thursday 23rd April (4 nights, leaving on Friday).

Cost: £835 for dinner, bed and breakfast with sandwich lunch. One drink included with lunch and dinner.

You will need to pay £100 non-returnable deposit to reserve a space.

The holiday consists of 4 nights (Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday) dinner, bed and breakfast with a packed lunch. You arrive on Monday afternoon and there will be a Meet and Greet with Charlie at about 4.30pm.

Painting tuition will be on Tues, Wed and Thurs. All rooms are single occupancy and en suite.

Painting will be outside if the weather is good, or inside in a large room at the Inn. So, you will need a chair or easel as well as your usual painting kit. Charlie will bring a small shop of essentials.
